Did you know how tasty is Greek coffee with caramel as a sweet?
Caramel jelly flavored with Greek coffee and chocolate crumble
For the jelly
6 sheets of gelatin (of 2g each)
300ml fresh milk
400gr. caramelized milk
120gr. Greek coffee Tampis
For the crumble
150gr. frozen butter
250gr. flour for all uses
1 egg yolk
100gr. Brown sugar
50gr. cocoa
For the crumble: Preheat the oven to 180oC. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and then sprinkle the mixture on a baking sheet lined with non-stick baking paper. Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes. Leave the crumble aside to cool and become crispy.
For the jelly: Soak the jellies in cold water for 5 minutes. Put the milk, caramelized milk and coffee in a saucepan and heat them very well, stirring at intervals, until the ingredients come together.
Remove from the heat, add the well-squeezed jellies and stir until melted. Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
Divide a little crumble in 6-8 glasses, divide the jelly on top and keep the glasses in the fridge for about 1 hour, until the jelly freezes and stabilizes. When you want to serve, sprinkle the glasses with crumble and a little icing sugar.
