Scuba diving


Scuba diving is an activity where people (called “scuba divers”, or simply “divers”) can swim underwater for a long time, using a tank filled with compressed air.
The tank is a large metal cylinder made of steel or aluminum.
The word scuba is an acronym from Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus.
The more you dive and swim, the more your muscles lengthen, build strength and develop endurance as well as flexibility.
Scuba diving and swimming through the water can not only strengthen your legs it can also help to build up your core strength, which is important for a good overall posture in your everyday life.
