Waffles with Matcha Tea

Matcha, La Via Del Te that among other amazing health benefits is energy and calmness, its antioxidant properties and increased brain function.

Thus, rich in vitamins and antioxidant properties, Matcha Tsuki is particularly suitable as a food ingredient.

Recipe Ingredients

1/2 cup sugar

1-2 tablespoons Matcha powder | La Via Del Te

2 tablespoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup butter, melted

1 cup milk, room temperature

2 eggs, room temperature

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

cooking spray

 

METHOD

Preheat the waffle iron or pan. Then sift together the flour, sugar, matching powder, baking powder and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together the butter, milk, eggs and vanilla. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.

 

 

Spray the waffle iron or pan with cooking spray. Cook according to the instructions of the machine you use (usually only takes a few minutes) and turn if necessary.

Once the waffles are ready, add homemade whipped cream, fruit or icing sugar for garnish.

Also honey or maple syrup are very suitable.
